Supporting Strength

In the thread of missed things, I also missed the opening of:

Making Strides With Photography
at The Seen Gallery

Featuring work by: Susan Rosmarin

Exhibition: Fri, Oct 16 to Wed, Oct 28

I actually have a good reason for missing this one though.
If you click on the first link you'll see that Susan Rosmarin is using her work to promote Brest Cancer awareness.
I personally think this is a large concern that everyone, especially women, should be more aware of.
I've known both survivors of this disease as well as those who lost the fight.
This is something that is very close to my heart.
The only reason I did not go to this opening is because I want to experience this exhibit for the first time with my mother.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
